Today
a visit to Islamic Cairo
- the Citadel, Alabaster
Mosque and Palace, visit
the city gates and drive
past the city of the dead.
This afternoon visit Coptic
Cairo where some of the
oldest churches in the
world can be found, walk
the road Mary and Joseph
walked and see the crypt
where they are supposed
to have hidden from Herod.

the church where Moses
was supposed to have stopped
- Tonight visit the Khan
El Khalili Bazaar before
taking the overnight sleeper

14 - Cairo - Fayyoum Oasis:

Travel to the Fayyoum
Oasis, natural lakes,
springs, water wheels,
greenery - an oasis in
the middle of the desert

15 - Cairo-Mount Sinai:

Travel to St. Catherine
(6 hours drive) with stops
at some Moses springs
and a military museum
historical places along
the road. Check in our
hotel for an early dinner
and rest in preparation
for an early morning hike
up Mount Sinai to see
the sunrise on the mount
Moses received the 10

famous Monastery of St.

well and the burning bush
before breakfast and the
drive back to Cairo.

17 - Cairo - Sakkara/Memphis:

Pyramid Complex at Sakkara,
then onto Memphis to see
the Alabaster Sphinx and
a huge Statue of Ramses
the II. On return to Cairo
we stop to see local children
weaving carpets at a carpet
school - opportunity for
souvenirs of carpets and
wall hangings of all kinds.
Lunch at a local countryside

take a visit to Ismailia
and to Suez to see the
famous Suez canal and
hear the history of how
it was built.

visit the modern Opera
House, the Cairo Tower
and the Pharoanic Village..

Today we visit
the Anderson House Museum
and nearby Mosque before
taking a luxury luncheon
